Physical and digital gold trading platform
Goldmim
An online gold platform where users buy at live global spot prices and either hold a digital gold balance for trading or take physical delivery — built on an independent core.

Context
What the system had to do
Goldmim had to bridge two worlds: a digital gold wallet priced against the global index in real time, and physical bullion held across a branch network and delivered to customers.
It was built on its own core rather than the crypto exchange engine, so the architecture had to be established again — this time around the custody of physical assets.
What I built
Decisions and delivery
- Applied the same modular, event-driven architecture as the exchange on an independent core, and extended it to physical asset custody.
- Built the fulfillment layer bridging digital holdings and physical assets: branch network inventory, delivery routing, identity verification at handover and dedicated secure logistics for shipments.
- Priced holdings against the global gold index with live charting.
- Owned architecture, core services and DevOps as Technical Lead.
Outcomes
What it delivered
—
Live custody of both digital balances and physical bullion from launch.
—
Branch inventory, routing, verified handover and secure shipment covered end to end by one fulfillment layer.
